After the big sea session at the dip we headed to Levington for some flat water blasting,sadly we were disappointed as the tide was high and the river was really choppy !!! Still I rigged 5.6 (that's the smallest sail I have ever used in the river) and set off in the rain.We were trying for some fast runs but it was very hairy in the bay where sheeting in was difficult !!! I managed a top speed of 28.8 not bad for the conditions but Mark S(mas) did over 29 kts but he sheared his fin right off !!! and that slowed him down.Again I arrived here too late to get the best conditions perhaps I should have come here first thing.Drive past the dip on the way home and the sea looked really good as the tide drops the sea improved !!! - can't win'um all !!!
